I am a social community strategist at Digitaria, a JWT company. I work with brands in the health, retail, financial and tech industries to create end-to-end social media strategies to meet their objectives.
My degree in public relations from San Diego State University allows me to approach social media from a messaging standpoint, always keeping the end goal in mind. At the end of the day, social media is a two-way communication tool, created to enable and empower users to openly engage with each other and the companies they are connected with. With proper content and influencer strategies in place, brands can begin to truly utilize social media as a listening, marketing and customer relationship tool.
My passion (other than social media) is travel. I’ve spent time in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Puerto Rico and Canada all within a year, and have plans to travel to Costa Rica very soon.
